Customer-Focused Product Development Lead

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the product development efforts and liaising with various stakeholders to focus on customer needs and experience.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in an Agile/Scrum work environment as a Product Owner and will be able to effectively break down barriers to maintain progress on initiatives.
We are looking for a diplomatic individual with negotiation and conflict resolution skills who can prioritize user stories with team members and create business user stories.
The successful candidate will also have experience partnering with Scrum Masters in supporting the Scrum Framework, sharing and decomposing features into user stories (non-technical), and developing a deep understanding of customer and product needs.
They will be the recognized voice of the business to the team and work closely with the Product Manager to represent capabilities and features.
The ideal candidate will ensure that business requirements are represented in the product backlog, ensuring traceability between requirements to features to user stories.
Additionally, they will formally accept user stories once all acceptance criteria are met and demo-ed, actively participate in product backlog grooming sessions, retrospectives, defect management, and project team's release planning sessions.
They will also be accessible to the team to answer questions during Sprint planning sessions and Daily Scrum.
