Job Title: Process Lead

Key responsibilities include ensuring production targets and schedules are achieved, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a respectful work environment.

Developing a high-performance work team with high levels of worker morale, satisfaction, and performance is crucial. Provide coaching and performance communication to support development and help production staff succeed through performance management.

Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through standard work and training to those standards. Actively provide change leadership as required and support an environment of continuous improvement by encouraging production staff to challenge existing processes and implement solutions.

Communicate effectively with production staff on a daily basis regarding work team performance, strategic initiatives, policy changes, safety, quality, etc.

Promote and ensure a quality culture within the Process Area and maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

  • Maintain high visibility with production staff and use hands-on approach to communicate daily.
  • Review general status of production schedules to identify and resolve problems.
  • Provide training and coaching to improve standard work, work center organization (5S), and housekeeping.

Support production staff in understanding company policies and practices and maintain time and production records. Take notice of process related problems and support production staff in taking corrective action to improve the overall performance of the team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 7 NFQ qualification and 3+ years of experience in developing a team. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential, along with strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills.
