Pen Needle Production Supervisor

A Senior Operations Manager is required to oversee Pen Needle assembly and packaging operations.
About the Role:
This senior manager will be responsible for leading a team of production staff, ensuring all devices manufactured comply with quality and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to production teams to deliver on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people objectives.
- Ensure full health and safety compliance across the plant.
- Plan resources to optimize the flow of units through the manufacturing process.
- Monitor and optimize stock levels of work-in-progress in production areas.
- Lead internal and external audits, and drive process improvements.
- Develop team members through coaching, delegation, performance reviews, and developmental assignments.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a third-level degree qualification in manufacturing, engineering, or science, coupled with relevant experience in high-volume manufacturing.
- At least 5 years' experience in a production supervisory/management role in manufacturing is required.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Knowledge of budgetary control procedures and the ability to lead, work as part of a team, and on own initiative are also required.
