Job Overview

This senior role involves leading the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise data architecture. The successful candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, data governance, compliance standards, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Strategy and Design: Develop comprehensive data architectures, including data models, pipelines, and integration strategies that support business goals.
  • Architecture Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of data lakes, warehouses, and modern data stacks using tools like Databricks.
  • Data Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, with a focus on GDPR compliance, data privacy, and security best practices.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to identify data needs, enhance data production and management processes, and drive adoption of data solutions.
  • Documentation and Blueprints: Create detailed architectural blueprints, documentation, and standards for data systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture and/or data engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Power BI for data processing, analytics, and visualization.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including data storage, processing, and security features.
  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and security best practices.
