The Rotunda Hospital's Estate Campus Development Committee is an advisory body to the Board of Governors, ensuring they are adequately informed to make decisions regarding physical structures and infrastructure development. The committee plays a crucial role in addressing high clinical risks and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
The committee will focus on developing existing infrastructure to meet current and future needs, aligning with national standards and guidelines such as the National Maternity Strategy and HIQA guidance. This includes risk assessments, advising on measures to address potential issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and recommend strategies for estate campus development
- Assess and mitigate physical infrastructure risks
- Collaborate with the Project Board to achieve development objectives
