Lead Key Hydrologist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced hydrologist to lead significant projects, influence strategic direction, and progress their career within a flexible and rewarding environment.

About the Role:

  • Develop and deliver hydrological assessments, flood risk management strategies, and sustainable drainage designs with high-quality and compliant solutions at every project stage.
  • Oversee technical studies, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, contribute to EIARs, liaise with regulatory bodies and clients, and ensure efficient delivery of projects.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Chartered status or working towards it (e.g., CEng, CIWEM, or equivalent) is necessary for this role.
  • Extensive experience in hydrology, flood risk assessment, and drainage design is essential.
  • Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modelling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, InfoWorks ICM) is required.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams are crucial.
  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and mentoring capabilities are necessary for success.
