Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a senior hydrologist and hydraulic modeller to lead our team of experts in flood risk assessments.

The successful candidate will spearhead strategic assessments for land-use plans in the UK and Ireland, oversee surveys, hydrological estimation, and statistical analysis. They will also perform site-specific assessments and provide guidance on structural and drainage considerations to relevant teams.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines, providing support during oral hearings, and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements include eight years of relevant experience, an honours degree in civil or environmental engineering, and expertise in hydrological estimation methodologies and 1D-2D flood modeling. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and project management skills, leadership qualities, and proficiency in communication and report writing.
