The role of a Cancer MDM Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the efficient coordination of multidisciplinary team meetings (MDMs). These meetings facilitate collaboration among healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate cancer MDMs, including management of meeting dates and notification of changes.
  • Generate electronic conference lists and record attendances at MDMs.
  • Liaise with cancer clinical nurse specialists and other staff to prepare for MDMs.
  • Provide cross-functional cover for other MDM coordinators.

Requirements:
  • Professional qualifications or equivalent education in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of the health service and OECI Accreditation standards.
  • MS Office skills and excellent organizational abilities.
