Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics or a related field, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high standards of professional image and demonstrating the added value of customer support to our clients.

You will be responsible for planning and executing work in an efficient and effective manner, providing top-notch customer service and achieving optimal financial performance. Key product groups supported include ICP-OES and material characterization, with additional experience in FTIR, UV/Vis, and GC being a significant advantage.

In this role, you will perform field service tasks, including repairs, preventative maintenance, qualifications, and installations. You will also provide onsite user training on defined product groups and organize routine maintenance allocated monthly.

As a dedicated and results-driven individual, you will ensure that all documentation, circuit diagrams, and manuals are up-to-date and accurate. Your expertise will be sought after by customers worldwide, and you will represent our organization with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform field service tasks, including repairs, preventative maintenance, qualifications, and installations.
  • Provide onsite user training on defined product groups.
  • Organize routine maintenance allocated monthly.
  • Ensure that all documentation, circuit diagrams, and manuals are up-to-date and accurate.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of HND or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Full Irish Driving License.
  • Proven experience in a customer service environment, preferably in GMP environments.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical instrumentation and awareness of instrument applications.
