Job Opportunity

Provide exceptional care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling customers to maintain active and fulfilling lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Support customers with meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Practice safety procedures, including person moving and handling
  • Report concerns or incidents to your manager
  • Document tasks completed accurately and confidentially
Requirements
  • QQI Level 5 Health Care Award or equivalent qualification
  • Additional training requirements, including Children's First – HSE LAND and GDPR Training – HSE LAND
Skills and Competencies
  • Basic patient care skills, including bathing and feeding
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and protocols
  • Companionship and emotional support
Experience
  • One year paid experience or prior experience not required if holding QQI Level 5 qualification
