About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Financial Operations Manager.

As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial operational functions of the business.

You will work closely with the Finance Director on development and implementation of strategic needs and goals for a fast-growing business.

You will support the CEO as needed on special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting, monthly reporting, daily and monthly reconciliations, treasury, AP, SPV non-lending payments, and general ledger processes.
  • Deliver monthly management accounts for multiple entities within tight deadlines, including analysis and reconciliations.
  • Cashflow forecasting and liquidity management.
  • Manage payroll for approximately 15 employees.
  • VAT and PAYE returns, other statutory company returns.
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including banks and external auditors.
  • Implement scalable and automated financial processes.
  • Build strong internal control environment that protects the business from risk.
  • Own PCF function authorised by CBI.
  • Assist with HR tasks such as recruitment process, contract sending, HR system updating, and employee induction.

About You:

A qualified accountant with up to c. 2 years PQE.

Detailed understanding of month-end reporting requirements and financial statements.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new skills.

Confident self-starter with strong interpersonal and organisation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.

Strategic thinking and commercial awareness.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Customer-focused in terms of outcomes.
