Quality Assurance Functional Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide quality assurance testing for corporate banking applications, ensuring that any business-requested changes are validated prior to handing off to user acceptance testing (UAT).


About the Role

You will gain in-depth knowledge of the business and comprehend the testing framework and processes for the applications. You will be required to leverage your testing expertise to creatively develop solutions for automating test processes, design maintenance procedures, and documentation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality assurance testing for corporate banking applications.
  • Learn the business and understand the testing framework and processes.
  • Utilize your testing skills to develop solutions for automating test processes.
  • Design and implement maintenance procedures and documentation.
  • Automate repetitive steps in a workflow process or application.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with 7-9 years of experience.
  • Experience working in the corporate banking domain/applications.
  • Conversant in ITIL principles.
  • Ability to prepare automation strategy and plan.
  • Good knowledge in any automation testing tools.
  • Experience in designing frameworks.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in database, data warehouse (ETL), data conversion, data migration, functional/regression, back/front end, and API testing.
  • Leadership skills to drive QA projects forward.
