Quality Assurance Test Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Functional Test Engineer to join our team. This person will provide quality assurance testing for corporate banking applications, ensuring that any business-requested changes are validated prior to handing off to UAT.

About the Role
  • This is a key position in our organization, requiring a high degree of autonomy and problem-solving skills.
  • The successful candidate will have experience working in corporate banking domain/applications, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide quality assurance testing for corporate banking applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  2. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts, as well as analyze results and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, and ensure timely completion of testing tasks.
  4. Identify and recommend solutions for automating repetitive steps in workflow processes or applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7-9 years of experience in software testing, preferably in a corporate banking environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with ITIL framework, automation tools, and defect management tools like QC or Jira.
  • Strong knowledge of database, data warehouse (ETL), data conversion, data migration, functional/regression, back/front end, and API testing.
  • Leadership skills, with ability to drive QA projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
