Job Profile

Capital Projects Managed Services is seeking a seasoned EHS Professional to support a dynamic site-based team delivering engineering excellence, sustainable practices, and tailored project solutions in the pharmaceutical industry.

This on-site role ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will promote a proactive safety culture, implement HSE policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and participate in HAZOPs as required.

  • Ensure site operations align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture by implementing HSE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and participate in HAZOPs as required.
  • Identify high-risk tasks and ensure effective risk control measures are implemented.
  • Drive continuous improvement through identifying safety opportunities and collaborating with management to deliver initiatives.
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure timely closeout and implementation of corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • A relevant third-level qualification in Health & Safety or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in an EHS or Safety Engineering role within construction, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish health, safety, and environmental legislation and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience managing site-based safety and supporting capital projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS-related software systems.
  • High attention to detail and ability to influence and engage at all levels of a project team.
