Job Title: Senior Mental Health Leader

This role is a senior leadership position within a well-established mental health service. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work with adults in a rehabilitation unit and ensure high standards of care delivery.
Main Duties:
  1. Clinical Leadership: Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and services delivered.
  2. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to local safety statements and company policies, maintaining data privacy in line with GDPR.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Act responsibly and cooperate with regulators in the best interests of the service and its users.
  4. Infection Control: Maintain the highest level of infection control standards in line with company policy and national best practice guidance.
Clinical Expertise:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing assessments of patients admitted to the service.
  • Participate in ward rounds and multi-professional meetings to drive clinical excellence.
  • Ensure high standards of nursing in clinical procedures, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and Experience: Strong understanding of the Health Act 2007, Mental Health Act 2001, and related standards and regulations.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5+ years post-qualification psychiatric nursing experience, including 3+ years in a management position within psychiatric nursing.
  • Certification and Registration: Registered on the Psychiatric Division of the NMBI or eligible to be.
