Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced researcher to join our team as a Senior Research Fellow. As a Senior Research Fellow, you will be responsible for leading and driving research strategy, collaboration, and outcomes with leadership and initiative.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in health services research, epidemiology, psychology or non-lab-based child health research. You will also have a proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.

Key responsibilities include making independent and synergistic contributions to child health research, contributing to high-quality publications, competitive grant acquisition, and meaningful partnerships aimed at improving health service delivery and health outcomes for children and young people.

Requirements
  • PhD in health services research, epidemiology, psychology or non-lab-based child health research
  • Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments
  • Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact
  • Experience in translation/intervention research preferred
  • Proven ability to generate grant income
  • Ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships

About the Team

Our team is an integrated, multidisciplinary clinical research team working across Australia and internationally. We conduct translational health services and health systems research to optimise child health outcomes and address inequities, focusing on priority populations, integrating care and the first 2000 days.
