
Care Services Manager

We are seeking a skilled Service Coordinator to play a vital role in developing and running a service for adults who require individualized and significant support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day service, including programme planning, scheduling, staff supervision, and identifying training needs. This involves ensuring each individual has an up-to-date person-centered plan that informs their daily experiences and progresses them in independence within their communities.
The Coordinator will design and plan the service under the guidance of senior management, tracking progress and empirically validating all aspects of the service by demonstrating measurable benefits to individuals accessing it.
Main Responsibilities
- Service Provision:
- Regularly review and assess individual needs through agreed person-centered planning tools and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Guide and motivate staff in implementing goals identified in individual plans and delivering supports.
- Oversee coordination of all services in the area of responsibility.
- Ensure hubs operate in line with relevant policies and standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications
- A third-level qualification in education, psychology, or a relevant field is required.
Skills
- Proven leadership and supervision skills, including ability to lead a team and supervise staff performance.
- Experience in coordinating services and organizing and delivering supports.
- Ability to work within a team and independently, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
