Support Worker - Children and Young People

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Workers in a secure and supportive environment for young people aged 11-17.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide short-term, therapeutic, and stabilizing care to young people who are at risk and require a secure environment.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Assist with daily living activities, education, and recreational activities promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on the progress of young people, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related field.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and trauma-informed care.
  • CORU registered or in process application.
