Physiotherapist - Healthcare Professional

The role of Physiotherapist is a challenging and rewarding position that requires excellent patient care skills, adherence to best practice procedures, standards, and protocols.

The Physiotherapist will work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated treatment, ensuring high-quality service provision.

  • Departmental Coordination: Organize and coordinate the Physiotherapy Department's work to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Patient Safety: Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to hospital policies.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed of hospital strategic changes and align work practices accordingly.
  • Clinical Duties: Participate in on-call and weekend physiotherapy services, collaborate with staff, and report patient observations and changes in clinical status.

Clinical Expertise: Utilize advanced physiotherapy techniques and technologies to provide optimal patient care, staying updated with advances in physiotherapy and evidence-based practices.

Quality and Safety Initiatives: Participate actively in quality and safety initiatives, working with management to monitor and improve quality and lean programs.

Qualifications and Experience: Possess membership or eligibility for membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, with at least two years of hospital-based clinical experience, preferably with orthopedic expertise.
