Job Title: Social Care Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Social Care Manager to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing several residential sites based throughout Galway City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure services for adults in residential centres run smoothly and meet required standards.
  • Supervise and support staff, ensure high work standards, and arrange training.
  • Create and manage personalised care plans based on each resident's needs and goals.
  • Maintain centre safety by following health and safety rules and risk policies.
  • Use HR and incident reporting systems regularly and respond to emails and reports on time.

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 3 years of experience in management or supervisory role in health or social care.
  • A Level 7 or higher qualification in nursing, social care, or health science (QQI approved).
  • Registered with NMBI (for nurses).
  • A relevant qualification in management.
  • Full current driving license.
