Job Title: Automated Visual Inspection Project Lead

This role involves leading a capital investment project at a manufacturing site. The successful candidate will provide project management leadership to the AVI project on-site, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the AVI capital investment project, accountable for delivering the project within timelines, budget, and scope.
  • Support management of local AVI project budget, focusing on cash flow, cash outflow, resource allocation, and payment control.
  • Identify required resources and onboard them to support project execution.
  • Implement global standards of project management across the project.
  • Support project planning across project streams.
  • Develop relationships with operational leaders to understand their needs.
  • Collaborate with finance to manage the capital budget of projects being managed.
  • Lead the full lifecycle implementation of Automated Visual Inspection, including business case evaluation, bidding, requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, validation, and go-live.
  • Establish robust project governance frameworks, project charters, and steering committee reporting structures.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10-15 years of project management experience in equipment installation in pharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets exceeding €5M and multi-phase delivery schedules.
  • Background in pharmaceutical environments with strong knowledge of GMP, manufacturing operations, and fill-finish processes.
  • Track record in delivering projects with hybrid delivery approaches in regulated environments.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proficient in project planning tools (MS Project).
