Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections and experience with managing aged debtors. This role will involve working closely with the Group Financial Controller and Finance team to ensure timely and accurate data, processes and controls.

Responsibilities
  • Set up new accounts for customers on Intact software
  • Credit report checks and verification of customer creditworthiness
  • Post and allocation of payments from customers
  • Cash sales management and reconciliation
  • Liaise with credit insurers on legal matters and communicate options to management
  • Issue credit notes for cash sales/discount rebates and debit notes treatment
  • Upload invoices and credit notes, and issue end of month statements
  • Major debtor remittance and treatment, including updates on aged debtors report as requested
  • Invoice financing – uploads and drawdown
  • Expense analysis and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably with a focus on collections
  • Results-driven and proactive approach to work
  • Able to handle a high volume of transactions and tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel
  • Intact experience an advantage but not essential
