Job Description

Electrical Design Manager - Data Centre: This key role sits within a high-performing delivery team and requires deep technical expertise to manage design, coordination, and project delivery.

Manage the electrical design process from pre-construction through delivery. Collaborate with design consultants, subcontractors, and in-house engineering teams.

  • Ensure timely production and coordination of technical submittals and shop drawings.
  • Lead design meetings, ensuring technical compliance and alignment with project goals.
  • Manage design deliverables in line with programme milestones.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify design risks and propose solutions to mitigate cost or schedule impact.
  • Support project managers and site teams with design input and technical resolution.
  • Ensure designs comply with Irish electrical regulations, health and safety standards, and client specifications.
Requirements
  • Third level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Design Engineering.
  • 3+ years' experience working on large industrial plant projects.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
  • Proficiency in a related Electrical Design package/software.
