Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Japanese Language Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our localization department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Japanese content for our gaming products.

Your primary focus will be on translating and localizing game content from English to Japanese, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.

You will work closely with our project management team, localization QA, and other language specialists to ensure that all Japanese content is authentic, player-focused, and on-brand.

Additionally, you will drive transformation by implementing new post-editing, translation, and review workflows to raise speed and quality.

As a trusted voice in the team, you will support your colleagues, share ideas, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Native-level Japanese, business-level English
  • Strong creative writing and localization adaptation skills
  • Familiarity with shooter games, multiplayer, and live content is a distinct advantage
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn, adapt, and experiment
  • Understanding of cultural sensitivities and the gaming market in Japan
