This is an exciting opportunity to drive business impact by designing and delivering modern data platforms using Databricks and cloud-native tools. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into clean, structured formats ready for analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and building scalable data pipelines using Databricks and cloud-native tools.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Implementing best practices in data governance, quality, and security.
  • Troubleshooting and optimising data workflows for performance and reliability.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • A third-level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline, or relevant experience related to the position.
  • Proven experience working in a client-facing consulting environment, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, navigate complex requirements, and deliver tailored solutions across diverse industries.
  • 5+ years' experience working with Databricks, including Spark and Delta Lake.
  • Strong skills in Python and/or Scala for data engineering tasks.
  • Comfortable working with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.

A problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills are essential to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
