Sustainability Engineer Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Engineer to conduct LEED assessments and manage certification processes for our projects.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate sustainable design solutions from concept through to construction.
  • This role involves developing and evaluating sustainable design strategies, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and materials selection.
  • You will perform environmental and energy modeling, providing insights on the most impactful sustainability measures.
  • Staying up-to-date with advances in sustainable practices and regulatory requirements is essential for this position.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a sustainability engineering role, preferably within a consultancy setting.
  • LEED accreditation is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
  • A strong understanding of sustainable building certifications and regulatory frameworks is crucial.
  • Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., IES, EnergyPlus) and sustainable analysis tools is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary teamwork, are essential.
