About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Account Development Manager to lead our client relationship and account management function.

The ideal candidate will be able to build trust with business clients, help them get value from our services, and ensure the day-to-day commercial side of the relationship runs smoothly.

The Opportunity
  • Develop long-term relationships with business clients and maintain high-level understanding of each client's environment and recurring needs.
  • Track and manage renewals to avoid service lapses and ensure seamless delivery of our services.

The successful candidate will start by supporting senior staff and gradually take full ownership of a portfolio of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management:
    • Build strong relationships with business clients and foster a positive reputation for our company.
    • Maintain accurate records of quotes, renewals, and follow-ups in our CRM system.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Act as a liaison between clients and our engineering team, ensuring clear communication and effective project delivery.
    • Book in project work, gather and confirm requirements, and manage client expectations.
  • Sales Support, Business Development and Growth:
    • Follow up on inbound leads and referrals, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
    • Assist with proposal writing and presenting service options to clients.
  • Admin & CRM Discipline:
    • Log all client-related activity in our CRM system, maintaining accurate records and data.

The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, confident engaging with business owners and managers, and able to work well across teams.
