Senior Physiotherapist Job Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a skilled and motivated physiotherapist to fill a senior position within our team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess experience in manual therapy, dry needling, sports injuries, and rehabilitation. They will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing expert physiotherapy interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating tailored treatment plans.
  • Providing high-quality physiotherapy services with a focus on manual therapy, dry needling, and sports injuries and rehabilitation.
  • Effective communication with patients to educate them on their condition and treatment options.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Staying updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy and contributing to continuous improvement of clinical practices.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior physiotherapists within the team.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in physiotherapy.
  • CORU registration as a physiotherapist.
  • Minimum three years postgraduate physiotherapy experience working in a clinical setting or sports medicine.
  • Proficiency in carrying out dry needling, manual therapy, and sports rehabilitation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage own caseload.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualification in sports physiotherapy/musculoskeletal physiotherapy/sports science/Sports rehabilitation/Strength and conditioning.
  • Experience working closely with other disciplines such as strength and conditioning coaches, sport scientists, sports analysts, nutritionists, rehabilitation specialists, and team management.
