Tax Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our client service team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing tax advice and guidance, and ensuring that all tax obligations are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team to maintain and develop relationships with clients, coordinating service offerings from other departments.
  • Lead an integrated client service team on various assignments to achieve client satisfaction and firm-wide financial goals.
  • Contribute to collective targets for fee revenue, billing, net fee income, and cash collection, as well as personal and firm-wide goals.
  • Train and manage student trainees.
  • PARTicipate in business development and marketing initiatives.
About You:
  • A proven track record of success in tax consulting, with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Currently working as an Assistant Manager, Manager, or equivalent in a practice environment.
  • Experience working with Irish and international clients to provide innovative tax solutions.
  • Managing consultancy assignments in corporate tax, VAT, income tax, CGT, and CAT.
  • Liaising with Revenue on behalf of clients and advising on domestic and international corporate tax matters and VAT issues.
  • Experience in operational supervision and client relationship management.
  • Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to guide others and deliver under pressure.
  • Strong technical background and computer-literacy skills.
