Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced researcher to join our team as an AI Medical Physics Expert. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary environment of researchers, contributing to the development of advanced analysis techniques in diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, and radiation oncology physics.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a research programme of international repute, focusing on the implementation of AI and other advanced analysis techniques in Medical Physics.
  • Secure funding at national and international levels to support research initiatives.
  • Lead a research group and establish collaborations with other research groups within the institution and beyond.
  • Publish high-quality research in leading peer-reviewed journals and supervise research students in postgraduate programmes.
Teaching and Mentoring:
  • Curate and deliver educational content for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Medical Physics.
  • Teach classroom and laboratory sessions, as well as supervise projects and group-work.
Key Requirements:

A strong track record of publications, clinical development, and funding success is essential. The appointee must demonstrate leadership skills, build their research group, and establish strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI applications in Medical Physics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic research environment.
