Job Description: Electricity Connection Policy

As part of our organization's ongoing efforts to support the development of renewable energy projects, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our electricity connection policy initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective policies and procedures to facilitate the connection of renewable energy projects to the grid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, government officials, and other relevant parties.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and policies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and implementation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues associated with project execution.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on electricity connection policy matters to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant postgraduate degree in a field such as law, politics, or environmental science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a regulatory or policy capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results-oriented outcomes.
