As a Senior Lead for renewable energy projects, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of planning applications.

About the Job

The role requires a motivated and experienced planner with strong knowledge of the Irish planning system and recent experience in renewable energy or infrastructure planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of planning applications for renewable energy projects.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members.
  • Oversee planning inputs and review key deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Engage with local authorities, statutory bodies, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure all planning work is completed in line with project deadlines and quality expectations.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Recognised planning qualification (IPI or RTPI accredited).
  • Experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong understanding of Irish planning legislation and its application to renewable energy projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven project leadership and stakeholder management experience.
  • Full driving licence required.
