The Role:

We seek a talented individual to support our Life Sciences group in various aspects including sterilization, environmental monitoring, product cleanliness, and biocompatibility.

This role involves working closely with experienced associates and managers to ensure the Life Science requirements are met or exceeded.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and apply microbiological and biocompatibility concepts in medical device manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety, security, and quality standards and procedures.
  • Review and apply relevant standards and procedures to provide support in sterilization, environmental monitoring, product cleanliness, and biocompatibility.
  • Develop and review protocols, reports, and other documents related to sterilization, microbiological test methods, and/or biocompatibility.
  • Evaluate, maintain, and improve the quality of medical devices through technical projects.
  • Analyze data to establish root cause for out-of-specification results and support justification for improvements.
  • Collaborate with others to exchange information, ask questions, and confirm understanding with Life Science mentors.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong technical skills with effective communication abilities.
  • Competencies in both written and oral communication.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor in a high-energy environment.
  • Possess a positive attitude with an underlying belief that failure is not an option.
