Project Coordinator Role

The role of a Project Coordinator is a pivotal position within our organisation, responsible for the seamless execution and delivery of construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects across various environments, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budgetary constraints, and meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource requirements, as well as participate in lookahead programme development and target achievement.
  • Team Leadership and Supervision: Mentor and develop junior technical staff, identify future talent, and ensure site personnel are inducted and compliant with site rules and documentation.
  • Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE): Ensure full compliance with HSQE management systems, participate in RAMS preparation and briefing, conduct regular inspections, and promote a strong safety culture and environmental responsibility.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and surveyors to ensure smooth project delivery, attend progress meetings, and build strong client relationships.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all necessary documentation is in place, monitor and report on project progress, programme, finance, risks, and opportunities, and evaluate changes to scope, specifications, and drawings.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience for a Site Agent, with a minimum of 7 years for a Project Manager.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to HSQE, programme delivery, and cost control.
  • Chartered status or working towards it (desirable).
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
