The Role:

  • Work as a Junior Civil Engineer on a civil project in County Limerick.
  • Be part of an experienced team with a large contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to and communicate with the Project Manager.
  • Oversee structural activities on site.
  • Review and inspect site drawings and specifications.
  • Set out the site with precision and accuracy.
  • Assist in managing and coordinating site teams.
  • Coordinate machinery, equipment, and plant resources.
  • Procure necessary materials when required.
  • Maintain alignment with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Ensure all site works meet the company's quality standards.
  • Keep an up-to-date Site Diary.
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks and briefings.
  • Provide comprehensive site inductions for all staff.
  • Assist with traffic management on site.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering degree
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Excellent organisational and motivational skills
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Setting out knowledge and experience
  • Valid driving license
