This role is ideal for a skilled construction professional looking to take on a senior site management position. A General Foreperson is required to oversee the daily operations of a residential development project in Galway.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of works, from foundation through to completion. This will involve managing subcontractors, suppliers, and civil/groundworks contractors, as well as maintaining detailed records and coordinating logistics.

The ideal candidate will have a trade background and a solid understanding of residential construction phases. They should have a strong track record of delivering quality results within tight deadlines and be able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of day-to-day site operations, including health and safety protocols
  • Management of subcontractors, suppliers, and civil/groundworks contractors
  • Maintenance of detailed records, including labour/material allocation sheets
  • Coordination of logistics, including pedestrian and vehicle routes
  • Leadership of site teams to ensure quality standards are upheld
