This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineer who wants to progress and become part of an innovative, forward-thinking contractor.

Job Description

Your new role will involve working alongside an experienced contracts manager, receiving training to manage mechanical installations on fit-out and modular build projects.

  • Manage, monitor and successfully deliver Mechanical Contracts for customers.
  • Ensure all works are carried out to a high standard, adhering to RAMS and site safety plans.
  • Provide technical support to customers and team.
  • Manage in-house labour, ensuring quality of work and compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare quotes/variations for projects when required.
  • Complete take-offs from drawings for all materials, adhering to the better buy process.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure accurate invoicing/payment applications are made on time.
Requirements:
  • Qualified plumbing/heating engineer with commercial and industrial experience.
  • Supervisory/management experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of health, safety, environment, and quality systems.
  • Good communication and IT skills (excel/word/outlook).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
