Job Opportunity

Nugent is seeking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Contract Manager to join their Contracts Department. This is a key role that involves delivering projects and contractual requirements on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent procurement skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. They will be responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered efficiently and safely, while maintaining good working relationships with clients and contractors.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement of plant, materials, and sub-contractor packages
  • Responsible for project team management, staff supervision, labor control, and coordination
  • Regular meetings with clients
  • Liaison with clients and contractors on project delivery
  • Ordering and managing products/machinery for site

Applicants must have a clean driving license, a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. They should also possess health and safety knowledge, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
