
Mechanical Contracts Manager

You will be managing the activities of a team of Engineers to ensure the successful, timely and cost-effective completion of all works, providing technical guidance and ensuring that the work of the section meets company requirements.
Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and supervision to team members Ensure works are completed on time and to the right quality Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within each contract Ensure engineers are working productively completing reactive jobs on-site, and providing technical support where needed.
Ensure stakeholders on the site are kept updated at all times.
Completing regular meetings with the engineers Review and approve all rams Ensure the provision of a healthy and safe working environment and that both the clients and the Company health and safety policy and processes are effectively implemented Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across the contract Experience required Minimum 5 years in Engineering Management (Building Services / Mechanical) Proven track record in delivering effective customer service whilst maintaining appropriate operating margins Hard working, outgoing and confident team player, who takes pride in their work, capable of showing initiative and is able to think quickly and commercially on their feet.
Proven record of managing, motivating, developing and retaining a dispersed workforce both directly and through others.
Experience in overseeing projects, manging teams and working towards health and safety standards.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage conflicting priorities and work well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
