Construction Site Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned logistics manager to oversee the smooth operation of materials to and from our construction site. As the Site Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and supplies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the compound for all available storage areas on site.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors to ensure their understanding of locations for all deliveries from off-site storage facility to the site in a safe manner.
- Maintain good organisational skills to ensure deliveries are coming to site in an orderly manner.
- Attend pre-start meetings with sub-contractors to ensure they have full understanding of the challenges on-site, storage space and locations.
- Liaise closely with sub-contractors to ensure effective traffic management of all vehicles on-site and deliveries.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in a similar role on a large scale construction site.
- Strong, proven leadership skills and experience of managing a team.
- In depth practical knowledge of managing loads, storage space, sub-contractors and operatives.
