Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Major Emergency Planning
Job DescriptionThis role is pivotal in ensuring the hospital's preparedness and effective response to major incidents, mass casualty events and internal incidents. The successful candidate will play a key part in coordinating the development, implementation and evaluation of the hospital's Major Emergency Plan and Internal Incident Plan.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership to staff involved in emergency situations
- Implement and evaluate the Major Emergency Plan and Internal Incident Plan for effectiveness
- Establish excellent communication with hospital departments to support preparedness
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with at least 5 years' experience, including 2 years in the specialty or related area. They must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
Desirable qualifications include a recognised management qualification or postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing.
