">Lead Reliability Engineer Role

As a seasoned professional in the field of site reliability, you will hold a leadership role in your team, demonstrating expertise across multiple technical domains. Your strong knowledge and experience will enable you to advise others on technical and business issues facing them.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes on AWS.
- Collaborate with team members to identify comprehensive service level indicators and work with stakeholders to establish reasonable service level objectives and error budgets with customers.
- Manage incident response to mitigate business impacts by coordinating cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise:
- Deep proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise system architecture, and site reliability best practices.
- Fluency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java Spring Boot, Go, Shell Script).
- Deep knowledge of software applications and technical processes with emerging depth in one or more technical disciplines.
Observability and Monitoring:
- Proficiency in observability such as white and black box monitoring, SLO alerting, and telemetry collection using tools like Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk.
- Experience with container and container orchestration (e.g., ECS, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Ability to troubleshoot common networking technologies and issues.
Cloud Platforms:
- Proficiency in Cloud Platform (AWS) infrastructure and setting up monitoring / observability for applications migrated to cloud platforms.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform).
