Key Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our client's team on a significant road/cycling/active travel initiative in Galway City. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for on-site supervision, administration, monitoring, and inspection of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and inspect the construction of roadworks, including pavement, drainage, ducting, signage, and lighting.
  • Work closely with a full-time Senior Resident Engineer and Clerk of Works/Inspector.
  • Maintain exceptional communication and interpersonal skills throughout the project.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in supervising and inspecting construction activities.
  • Eagerness to pursue Chartered Engineer status.
