Production Operative Role
">This role is responsible for working as part of a production team to assemble products or components. The tasks will vary based on business requirements and the successful candidate will be expected to adapt to these changes.
">The Production Operator will have responsibility for building order quantities stated on the production works order for each production build, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled and stocking levels of finished goods are managed in a cost-effective manner.
">Good communication skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will need to communicate effectively with area supervisors and other personnel in the production department to resolve issues on a day-to-day basis.
">A clean working area on the production floor is essential, and the successful candidate will be expected to participate in lean/5s initiatives.
">The role also requires compliance with company standard operating procedures and policies for the production area and quality systems within the area.
">Furthermore, the Production Operator will be responsible for producing products in accordance with quality systems and bill of materials (BOM).
">Health and Safety considerations for this role include activities such as riveting, wheel press operation, assembly, nuttling, product packing, tapping, and rubber cutting.
">To ensure a safe working environment, minimal lifting/manual handling activities will be undertaken, and staff will be trained on manual handling techniques at regular intervals.
">Adequate lighting and appropriate seating/bench setup will be provided to ensure good ergonomics, including footrests where necessary.
">The successful candidate will also be expected to work as part of an assembly line team, performing repetitive tasks without errors, and possessing strong hand-eye coordination to operate various assembly tools.
">This role requires flexibility to work in other departments or roles as customer demand requires, and the ability to perform other duties as assigned.

• Maintaining a high level of alertness and accuracy in execution of tasks
