Job Title: Employee Benefits Specialist

As a key member of our global benefits team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our EMEA/APJ benefit and wellbeing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of health, spending accounts, life, disability, and commuter plans in the EMEA/APJ region
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure seamless delivery of benefits services
  • Assist with plan design review, including open enrollment process planning, Workday configuration, testing, and implementation
  • Support ongoing benefit activities, including data analysis, file feeds, and collaboration with the Workday team on configuration updates
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize employee benefit data and trends; Assist in tracking benefit costs and preparing benefit cost analysis
  • Evaluate and implement wellbeing programs to support employees; Oversee, promote, and support Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and other initiatives as required
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned or requested to optimize benefit plan effectiveness and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; technology/fast growth company background preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of benefit plan administration (e.g. Workday); Experience migrating and administering self-funded plans is a plus
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing benefit administration, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, DOL, and IRS requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting benefits information; Ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • Solid analytical capability, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to identify, assess, and analyze opportunities in current offerings and processes, and make recommendations for improvements
  • A customer-focused mindset; Identify employee needs, market trends in benefits offerings, and develop recommendations to support employees
  • Proficient technical skills - ability to adapt; Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment; Highly organized and able to effectively manage multiple deliverables with conflicting timelines
  • Self-motivated and accountable with the ability to operate independently under limited supervision
  • Ability to work in a team-focused, collaborative environment
