Cost Manager Role

A reputable construction company is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to join its expanding team.

Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Cost Planning: Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and tender documentation.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor project financial performance and prepare reports to stakeholders.
  • Procurement: Manage procurement and assess subcontractor quotations to ensure best value for the company.
  • Contract Administration: Administer contracts and handle variations and claims in accordance with company procedures.
  • Liaison: Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, Excel).
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
