Assistant Treasurer Job Opportunity

The Assistant Treasurer role is a pivotal position in the organization, overseeing a broad range of treasury and financing activities.

  • Manage day-to-day banking relationships, account openings, and KYC exercises to ensure compliance and risk management.
  • Lead cash pooling and streamline bank account structures to optimize liquidity and reduce costs.
  • Deliver accurate cash reporting and forecasting (short & long term) to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee trade facilities (LCs), guarantees, inter-company financing and dividends to ensure financial stability.
  • Coordinate quarterly financial risk reviews to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Manage exposures and hedging across interest rates, FX, and inflation to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background, with a degree in a technical discipline such as finance or economics.
  • Professional certifications like ACT, ACA, or CFA would be an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience to present complex data insights effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders and negotiate agreements.
