We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Cloud Engineer. This role requires expertise in designing and developing features for optimizing and improving the customer experience on public clouds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-based solutions to enhance the RHEL customer experience, focusing on optimization and performance of RHEL deployment and cloud integrations with partner cloud providers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Release Engineering, Quality Engineering, Support, Product Management, and Documentation teams, to deliver high-quality cloud integrations
- Research and propose new cloud-based solutions to improve the RHEL experience on public clouds
Requirements:
- Professional software engineering experience, preferably with Go, Python, or Bash
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team
- Experience with Cloud DevOps and/or CI/CD in GitLab or Jenkins and Linux rpm-based packaging is desirable
- Technical Cloud Certifications are preferred
