Workshop Manager

As a key member of our Aftersales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

Bright Motor Group is one of Ireland's leading Motor Retailers, representing some of the best-known vehicle brands. With multiple locations across Dublin, we provide a choice of workplaces for interested candidates.

About the Role

The Workshop Manager will manage and develop the Workshop, providing technical support to staff and customers. This includes ensuring maximum utilisation and quality from the workshop, as well as delivering excellent customer service.

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering excellence and meeting targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in controlling service and repair work to maximise service sales and profitability.
  • Control the workshop through efficient operation of the planner and loading the work for each technician.
  • Maximise profitability by driving workshop hours and be responsible for workshop loading, utilisation, efficiency productivity and our technicians clocked time on each job.
  • Ensure that there is a first-time resolution for every repair.
  • Control the planner, record and process information on work carried out to customer vehicles.
  • Oversee the team of Technicians and support the front of house Teams within the service department to deliver an outstanding Aftersales experience to our customers.

We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge, people management experience, and excellent communication skills.
