Mechanical Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the successful execution and completion of mechanical systems in various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Evaluation: Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems, to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Documentation Management: Oversee the compilation and review of turnover documentation, including as-built drawings, equipment manuals, inspection reports, and compliance certifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project engineers, contractors, and operations teams to facilitate smooth communication and coordination regarding mechanical systems.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Collaborate on testing and commissioning activities to ensure that all mechanical systems are operationally ready.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all mechanical systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Handover Support: Assist in the formal handover process, providing training and support to operations personnel.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to ongoing team training and development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in mechanical systems turnover, project management, or a similar role within the engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and project management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
